Local musicians Phoebe Blue (singer/guitarist), Jeannine Otis (jazz vocalist), and others perform in Amma Staten Island Satsang's 2nd Annual Benefit Concert for Farmer Relief.

Farmers across India are so plagued by poverty and crop devastation that suicide has become an epidemic, sometimes due to debts of just a couple hundred dollars. 100% of the money raised from this concert will go directly to the families of farmers at risk across India, in projects led by the UN-acknowledged non-profit group Mata Amritanandamayi Math. Relief efforts include educational scholarships for children, and career training and small-business support for widows.
